My reason for being involved in the organization is personal: Your interventions have sustained me through difficult struggles with mental illness and being on the edge of losing my life. The organization, through its people, has given me new hope and responsibility. I have maintained my independence and lifted my voice to make a difference in recognizing the value and prowess of human beings who happen to be without a place to live.
I am honored to work with the staff and the people who make up the structure of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless because it is, without embellishment, the strongest advocate for homeless people in the Rocky Mountain vicinity. Finally, I would not be able to do anything without the encouragement and acceptance of the members of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless community. Together we recognize the veracity of each person's gift to one another.
