7. What if I have a question not answered here?
1. What is the application process?
Each volunteer job description provides a brief explanation of the application process for that position. Once your application is received the volunteer coordinator contacts you with further questions and/or set up an interview. Please allow two to five business days to process all paperwork before your orientation and training can be scheduled. The entire application process takes two to five weeks to complete.
2. Do you accept walk-in applications?
Yes. Please check in with the front desk to drop off your application for the volunteer coordinator.
3. Can I still apply if there’s not a current volunteer opening that interests me?
Yes. Please send general inquiries to info@coloradocoalition.org and attach a completed volunteer application and cover letter detailing your interests and availability. We cannot guarantee volunteer placement, but your application will be kept on file. Please check our volunteer opportunities page frequently for updated volunteer openings.
4. If I’m interested in more than one volunteer position, do I have to apply to each one?
Yes. You should apply to each volunteer position that interests you. Each program manager considers your application for their program. If you are contacted for an interview, be sure to inform the interviewer about any other Coalition volunteer positions for which you have applied for.
5. How long are applications kept on-file?
Applications are kept on-file for one year. However, applications are not automatically considered for each new opportunity. Please check the list of available volunteer opportunities frequently and apply accordingly. If you’re contacted for an interview, be sure to inform the interviewer about other Coalition volunteer positions for which you’ve applied.
6. Can current or former Coalition clients, patients, consumers and/or residents apply for a volunteer position?
Yes. However, due to matters of confidentiality, we may be unable to consider current and/or former consumers for the same program where they received services.
7. What if I have a question not answered here?
E-mail your question to info@coloradocoalition.org. Please write “Question” in the subject line of your e-mail.
